Expo-Théâtre

Entertainment ... is being presented in centers outside the Expo grounds, so that visitors will not have to pay to enter a theater on the site, on top of the price of admission to the exhibition. Expo-Théâtre stands just outside the exhibition's main entrance gate.

Expo-Théâtre entrance

The 2,000-seat Expo-Théâtre was a busy venue during the 1967 season, hosting a wide variety of musical acts and stage performances. The names on the entrance marquee can be used to date photographs of Expo; in this case it was June 29, 1967 (CD xx Set 69 #056)

After Expo closed the facility was transformed into a film and television production facility, and although greatly altered it is one of the few Expo 67 structures remaining on the site.
