“The Will to Explore, The Will to Create”
| Science and Man have learned much from mature. Research into the often
superior capabilities of animals has played a vital role in the advancement of
science. Man's desire to fly like birds inspired the airplane, and his wish to
"swim" the seaways like fish led to ships. Through animals, an inspirational
force in science, children may discover the wonders of sight, sound, and
touch. It is hoped that children will be able to see the world around them
with a scientific perspective, and be inspired to create. Films about animals and how they have evolved to meet their environment led into a stage show featuring two horses, who were prominently billed as being the only horses at Expo '85. (CD #3 Set 6 #7) |
