KODANSHA PAVILION

“Man, The Universe, and The Future”

Every time we think, make some sort of judgment, or understand anything, we use our brains. In fact, the brain never rests; even when we sleep, it remains active, regulating our body chemistry and directing our dreams. Yet the brain is still a mystery to us. It is commonly said that the last two frontiers of science are outer space and the brain. The Kodansha “Brain House” Pavilion explores the mysteries of the brain from many viewpoints, and presents them in a lucid, meaningful light.

Visitors to the Kodansha Pavilion began with a look at how the brain operates, using a variety of multimedia techniques including monitors in the floor. The show continued then with an animated tour through a young girl's brain, where a young boy learns more about this very important organ. (CD #1 Set 2 #14)
