INS PAVILION OF NTT

“INS Makes Life More Exciting”

Progress in communications technology has revolutionized the nature of human contact and the patterns of life and society. INS (Information Network System) is contributing to the development of society, but how will it affect our lives? At the INS Pavilion of NTT, you can experience a model of the INS society of the near future and understand how progress in communications technology will create an ideal lifestyle in a variegated culture.

Just like the Bell System Pavilion at the 1964-1965 New York World's Fair, the INS Pavilion predicted a rosy future for videophones. One part of the exhibit showed how life in the early 20th century would have been different if such modern technologies had been available back then. (CD #4 Set 7 #12)
