Photos on CD - Revised Edition
It's hard to believe with Disneyland being so crowded these days, but years ago the Park was closed two days a week during the off season. This was great for the maintenance crews, but it was also great for me. I worked for Disney and it was a wonderful opportunity to get some pictures of the place without tourists everywhere blocking the view.
This CD contains two sets of pictures I took back in the 70s. The first set is from 1976 and features some attractions no longer at Disneyland such as "Nature's Wonderland". I was able to walk the train track and get pictures of the rock formations, mud pots and animals. A second set from 1979 features crews setting up the Christmas decorations, and other views of missing attractions such as the submarines. Here's a detailed listing of the contents:

There is a total of 91 pictures and 690 MB. The original slides were copied on a Nikon Coolscan scanner at 4000 DPI with Digital ICE color correction and scratch removal. Additional restoration was performed to produce some nice quality views of days long gone.

I had previously been selling an older edition of this CD with the slides scanned at 2900 DPI. This edition features all new scans at 4000 DPI, with improved color correction. |
